This is me, Sairey, the founder

HI! This is me, Sairey, the Founder of UrbanUnderover. This was in high school, on my first mission trip to Guatemala. It was here, on this trip, that I started to understand the power that travel holds to not only transform my life, but positively impact others, as well. We worked with the community in San Lucas Toliman and with the orphanage. We were there to help, but I believe I learned more from the people there than I was able to offer. I could see their compassion and hard work and gratefulness and it changed my world.

I love to travel, yes. I love to see the beautiful World we are so very lucky in which to live. But more important to me than seeing the beautiful sights is connecting with the people, learning a different way, trying to understand something new and unique.

My goal with UrbanUndercover is to inspire people to travel, respectful of our Earth and other Cultures, and to get out there and learn from each other, hug each other and and ultimately make the world a better place. We want you to pack and go. Let’s be the change for the better.

My Mom always said, "If you are going to do something, do it to the best of your abilities or don't do it at all. "
